An Answer to the Invitation to the Common Vegetable Fest 2017

Visual poem
2021

This visual poem is on intersectional ecofeminism, a love for oneself understood through love to one’s microorganisms passing to bacterias.

This is an interpretation of Robert Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions (1980) which are painted as flower petals which are being counted through the pages. Each petal reflects a certain emotion, its different intensities. They are associated with human relationship to the world of bacteria found in the wild, as well as as an integral part of man.

The text deals with androgenicity and apocalyptic feelings about survival inspired by ways of reproduction that might be foregin to humans but still are an essential part of them.
